Microsoft unveils Communications Server "14"

At the end of March at VoiceCon in Orlando, Florida, Gurdeep Singh Pall,  revealed some new of the features of Communications Server “14” pre-release software. Pall gave the first public demonstration of some of the features.  

Communications Server “14” is expected to provide a complete communications solution and expected to include full enterprise telephony features. Some of the telephony features that included in this version as compared to the 2007 R2 version is branch office survivability and E911 features. Communications Server “14” is also expected to have some cool new features such as “skill search”  and “location-awareness”.
